SiLabs Touts Tiny 8051

Silicon Laboratories delivered the tiny 20-pin, 4x4 mm quad flat no-lead (QFN) package C8051F336 family of 8051 chips at Boston ESC. The top end, single cycle 25MHz chips come with 16Kbytes of flash and 768 bytes of RAM.

They are also available with high-performance analog features including a highly-linear 10-bit, 16-channel, 200 Ksample/s SAR ADC plus a programmable 10-bit IDAC for analog measurement and control.

There is also a comparator. The serial interfaces include UART, SMBus, and SPI. The C8051F336 is priced at $1.77 in quantity.
